Back in July 2013, it was reported that Jeethu Joseph would likely be directing a picture titled My Family using Mohanlal at the lead. Again in August 2013, Jeethu clarified that the movie was titled Drishyam. A thread similar to that of all Drishyam has already been with the manager since early 1990s. He was inspired by a conversation he had uttered about the plight of 2 families associated with a legal conflict. He says, “I started taking care of the subject some two years back again. However, I needed to stick to this planned sequence and thus postponed the job before I finished Memories. The script was designed to be filmed by another manager, but since that manager couldn’t find a manufacturer, Jeethu took back the text and decided to direct it himself. Drishyam contrasts with the director’s previous films. I difficulty while filming Memories as the picture was packed with twists and turns and also the handling of this subject mattered lots. However, Drishyam is an entire script-oriented film that does not require any particular work. We shot the picture sticking entirely into the script, and also the shooting was performed effortlessly.
