He calls Rathod and informs him he has placed five bombs at locations all over Mumbai and has programmed them to explode simultaneously in seven hours unless the Commissioner gives into his demands and releases several militants. In response, Rathod instantly alerts his team engaged with intellect research and surveillance, harnessing on all of the available resources to follow the location of their caller. The caller tips off television news reporter Naina Roy (Deepal Shaw), telling her to get to the police headquarters instantly as it is undoubtedly going to be “probably the most significant day of her life.” He farther scares them telephoning the cellular phone connected with the bomb but does not detonate the bomb. By casting to Conclusion, A Wednesday!
Took about eight months. It was filmed on location across Mumbai in 28 days. The terrorist’s ‘workstation’ was a real under-construction 25-story building; it was chosen out of 50 other such structures due to its apparent perspective of the Mumbai skyline. Since the building had not any elevators, a trolley lift was installed; Shah walked the 25 floors daily. More info.
